Laura R. Walker is President and CEO of New York Public Radio, the largest public radio station group in the nation. An independent and innovative nonprofit dedicated to providing high quality journalism, music and digital products, New York Public Radio reaches an audience of over 20 million monthly. The organization has been honored with nine George Foster Peabody Awards in the last twelve years and produces some of public radio’s most popular programming including Radiolab, The Takeaway, Freakonomics Radio, The New Yorker Radio Hour, On the Media, Note to Self and Death, Sex & Money. These programs are heard on more than 500 stations nationwide, and through podcasts and other digital products. New York Public Radio owns and operates eight public radio stations, including WNYC and WQXR, the most-listened-to public radio station and one of the most-listened-to classical stations in America, respectively. It also operates The Jerome L. Greene Performance Space, a 120 seat state-of-the art venue which is home to more than 150 events each year.

Manoush Zomorodi is the host and managing editor of Note to Self, “the tech show about being human,” from WNYC Studios.
Every week on her podcast, Manoush searches for answers to life’s digital quandaries, through experiments and conversations with listeners and experts. Topics include information overload, digital clutter, sexting “scandals," and the eavesdropping capabilities of our gadgets.
She has won numerous awards for her work including four from the New York Press Club. In 2014, the Alliance for Women in Media named her Outstanding Host.
Prior to New York Public Radio, Manoush reported and produced around the world for BBC News and Thomson Reuters. In 2012, she published Camera Ready, a guide to multimedia journalism.
An integral part of the iHeartMedia team since he joined the company in 2005, Grover currently serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager for iHeartRadio -- iHeartMedia's all-in-one digital radio and streaming music service. In this role, he focuses on the development of new high-potential digital opportunities for the company and maximizes the day-to-day operations of the iHeartRadio team. He also works closely with the National Sales, Marketing and Partnerships team as well as the Business Development team to support digital sales efforts and user growth.
Phil Redo is the General Manager for all WGBH Radio properties as well General Manager for WGBH News which includes all local news content on WGBH Radio, Television and WGBHNews.ORG. Redo also represents WGBH’s interests in three national radio productions, The World, The Takeaway and Innovation Hub, all three distributed by Public Radio International. Redo serves on the Executive Committee of Eastern Region Public Radio.
Redo has a 38 year career in both public and commercial broadcasting. He was Vice President for programming and production at Premiere Radio Networks in New York City and has been Vice President and General Manager for commercial radio stations in New York, Chicago and Boston, where he managed the five-station cluster owned by Greater Media.

Herb Scannell is a 30-year veteran in the television and digital media industry. As President of BBC Worldwide, North America, he oversaw the flagship cable channel BBC America and distribution of BBC World News, BBC Worldwide Productions LA, BBC.com, Sales and Distribution. Prior, Herb served as CEO of Next New Networks, an innovator in online video.
Herb spent the majority of his career at Viacom/MTV Networks, culminating in the position of Vice Chairman MTV Networks/President Nickelodeon Networks, which was the #1 network in all of cable during his tenure. In this role, he oversaw all creative and business operations for a portfolio of brands and businesses that, in addition to Nickelodeon, included TV Land and Spike TV.
Additionally, Herb is a member of New York Public Radio’s Board of Trustees, serving as Chair from April 2009 to April 2013. He is currently the Co-Chair of the organization’s Trusteeship Committee, a member of the Digital Task Force, and serves as advisor on the Diversity and Inclusion Council.
